Huawei, the world’s second largest smartphone manufacturer is trying their best to poke Apple with their new marketing. As you know, Apple launched three new iPhones on September 12, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max and went on sale on 20th September, yesterday.

Huawei Singapore staff were seen giving free power banks to the group hoping to purchase Apple iPhones yesterday with a message “Here’s a power bank. You’ll need it. Courtesy of Huawei.” on the box.

The fuuny incident was reported by Singapore-based Tech360.tv, which posted images of the activity at the Orchard Road Apple store. It was comprehended that around 200 power banks were given out that night and the unexpected giveaway had set off a smaller than normal craze as a few people were seen chasing the staff with the expectation of free power banks.

As you know, the Apple is known for innovation and quality of the products. However, iPhone users still have to deal with poor battery backup. Huawei used this as their marketing strategy by giving free power banks to the users who were in the line to buy the new iPhone’s. Both Samsung and Huawei are known for making fun of Apple iPhones from their new ads.

The Huawei is expected to launch their new smartphones in October, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro and recently Huawei caught cheating benchmark test and many benchmarking apps removed the Huawei’s phones from their platform.
