The Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei is all set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of another budget smartphone. The company has scheduled an event in India, where it will unveil the all-new Honor 8C smartphone. The Honor 8C is expected sport a 6.26-inch Full View display with a notch. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery. The company might launch the device in two variants: 4GB RAM+64GB and 6GB RAM+64GB.
The company launched Honor 10 Lite in China earlier this month and the smartphone’s pre-orders now open ahead of launch on November 21. The TENAA listing revealed that the device will be powered by an octa-core chipset. Few other reports and rumors claimed that it could either be the Snapdragon 710 or the Kirin 670/710. Both of these are capable chipsets and will definitely give these phones an edge over competitors. There is a dual camera set up on the phone that is placed vertically in the back along with the fingerprint scanner. For selfies, a 24MP camera will be placed inside a notch up front. You can expect the phone to have up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is said to pack a 3320mAh capacity battery and run Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9 software out of the box.
During this festival season, Huawei claimed that the company has sold above 1 million units of Honor products and the Huawei’s Honor 9N and Honor 8X was the most popular products on Flipkart’s Big Billion Days and Amazon India on the sale day.
