After unveiling the P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in June last year, Huawei has added yet another phone to the P-series by launching the P50E smartphone in home-country China. Check out the specs, price, and availability of the handset below.
Huawei P50E Pricing, Availability
Huawei P50E base model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 4,088 (approx. Rs 48,900). The top-end model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, on the other hand, costs CNY 4,488 (approx. Rs. 53,600). It is available in four colors: Obsidian Black, Cocoa Gold, Snow White, and Galaxy Blue.
From March 24th, Huawei P50E will be available for sale in China. So far, there is no confirmation on whether it will be made available outside of China.
Huawei P50E Specifications
Huawei P50E is fitted with a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 2700 x 1224 pixels resolution, a pixel density of 458ppi, 120Hz refresh rate support, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.
The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor with Adreno 642LGPU, 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal memory.
In terms of optics, this phone has triple cameras on the back comprising a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/3.4 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) support. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
There is a 4100 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Running on HarmonyOS 2, the handset comes with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device measures 156.5×73.8 x7.92mm and weighs around 181 grams.
