As part of its P50 series, Huawei has announced two new smartphones– the Huawei P50 and the Huawei P50 Pro. In addition to 4G connectivity, the newly announced smartphones also have an IP68 rating. Check out all the specs and pricing information for the Huawei P50 and the P50 Pro.
Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro Pricing, Availability
You can choose from Golden Black, Cocoa Gold, and Pearl White on the Huawei P50. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the Huawei P50 costs CNY 4488 (Rs. 51,620), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 4988 yuan (Rs. 57,392). It will be available in September.
Huawei P50 Pro variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB Snapdragon 888 SoC is priced at CNY 5988 (Rs. 68,868) while the Kirin 9000 chipset version is available in two RAM and storage configurations. In terms of price, the P50 Pro 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 6488 (Rs 74,614) while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model comes with a price tag of CNY 7488 (Rs 86,115). From August 12th, the Kirin-powered models will be sold in China, while the Snapdragon-powered models are not expected to be available until December.
A top-of-the-line 12GB RAM + 512GB version (Collector’s Edition) is also available in two colors. CNY 8488 (Rs. 97,600) is the price of the Golden Black colour model, while CNY 7988 (Rs. 91,850) is the price of the Dynamic Sky Blue model.
Huawei P50 Specifications
To begin with, the Huawei P50 has a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 pixels. It has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC powers the device. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. In terms of software, HarmonyOS 2 comes pre-installed on the device. It features a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture as well as a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera which has 5x zoom, OIS, and an f/3.4 aperture. The device features a 13MP camera on the front.
The handset comes with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port as its connectivity options. The battery on the device is 4100mAh (typical) and supports 66W fast charging.

The Huawei P50 Pro has a 6.6-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is available with the Snapdragon 888 SoC or the Kirin 9000 chipset, as mentioned above. The phone has 8GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. Additionally, there is a top-end model offering 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. A quad-camera setup is present on the device, including a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support, a 40MP Mono camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera which has a 90mm focal length(3.9x magnification), digital zoom up to 2,700mm focal length (up to 200x), OIS support, and an f/3.5 aperture.
This device comes with a 13MP front-facing camera. It has a 4360mAh (typical) battery that supports 50W wireless fast charging and 66W wired fast charging. As for connectivity, the phone supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and a Type-C USB port. The device also features a stereo speaker, a fingerprint reader in the display, and an IP68 rating.
