Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has unveiled the Pro Plus variant in the Huawei P40 series. Earlier, we reported the launch of Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro smartphones in China. The key highlight of the Huawei P40 Pro+ is its Penta camera setup on the rear.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus Specifications
Coming to the specs of the Huawei P40 Pro+, we see that it comes with a 6.58-inch Quad HD+ Quad-Curve Overflow Display with a screen resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate.
Powering the device is the latest Kirin 990 5G chipset along with the Mali-G76 GPU which is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device will run on Android 10 along with Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 skin overlaying it. However, the device comes without Google services.
In terms of optics, the Huawei P40 Pro+ has Penta rear cameras which consist of a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera (Wide Angle, f/1.9 aperture, OIS), 40MP Cine Camera (Ultra-Wide Angle, f/1.8 aperture), 8MP SuperZoom Camera (10X Optical Zoom, f/4.4 aperture, OIS), 8MP Telephoto Camera (3X Optical Zoom, f/2.4 aperture, OIS) and 3D Depth Sensing Camera.
Huawei claims that it has octaPD autofocus that takes in massive light. It sports a 3X optical telephoto zoom along with 20X Hybrid Zoom and 100x Max zoom. It comes with the world’s first multi-reflection super periscope telephoto setup that provides dual-axis OIS and 5 times light reflection and more. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel sensor with a depth camera, which also supports face unlock IR.
The phone has a 4,200 mAh battery which supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge and 40W wireless SuperCharge. In terms of optics, it has support for Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2 x 2 MIMO, HE160, 1024 QAM, 8 Spatial-stream Sounding MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.1 (Support BLE, SBC, AAC, LDAC), USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NavIC, NFC and dual-SIM.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus Price
Huawei P40 Pro Plus is priced at EUR 1399 (approx. Rs 1,16,991). As of right now, it has not been announced whether this phone will make its debut in other countries or not.
