Huawei P40 series has already started doing rounds on the internet. We recently reported about the Huawei P40 series launch date and the triple front-facing camera setup. Now, one of the phone from the series, Huawei P40 Pro 5G has now popped up on the benchmarking website Geekbench, revealing some key details.
An unannounced Huawei device with model number ELS-NX9 has just been spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench. The listing reveals that the smartphone, which should be the Huawei P40 Pro 5G, will have 8GB of RAM and will come with Android 10 out of the box.
The benchmark has also detected a HiSilicon Kirin chipset that has a base frequency of 1.95GHz. It seems to be the Kirin 990 5G chipset. Huawei ELS-NX9 has managed to score 776 in the single-core test and 3182 in the multi-core test.
As per the report, Huawei’s upcoming P40 series models may not ship with Google Mobile Services (GMS). Instead, the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) could be included on the phones along with the in-house AppGallery.
As of now, this is all we know about the Huawei P40 Pro 5G, but we are sure to receive more details on the phone in the coming days.

In a separate post, a popular had revealed the price of the Huawei P40. According to the leak, the forthcoming Huawei P40 will be available in Europe for around 799 euros (approx. Rs 65,856) and 899 euros (approx. Rs 74,098). Huawei P40 Pro, on the other hand, will be priced at 999 euros (approx. Rs 82,341) and 1,099 euros (approx. Rs 90,583). The most premium variant of the Huawei P40 Pro is said to ship with 120Hz refresh rate display and Penta-lens camera setup and it could be priced between 1,199 euros (approx. Rs 98,825) and 1,299 euros (approx. Rs 1,07,068).
