Huawei P40 Lite launched with quad rear cameras and Kirin 810: Specifications, price

Huawei P40 Lite, the newest smartphone in Huawei’s P-series, is now official. The smartphone has been launched in Spain. The smartphone comes with quad rear camera setup and a HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC. Since the smartphone has gone official in Spain, we could see this come to other markets soon. 

Huawei P40 Lite Specifications

Powered by in-house HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC, the Huawei P40 Lite comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also supports expandable storage via the microSD card slot. It runs EMUI based on the Android 10 operating system. 

Talking about the display, Huawei P40 Lite has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels. There is a hole-punch at the top-left corner for a selfie camera.

For imaging, there is a quad rear camera setup on the back. The main camera is a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Further, you will find a 24-megapixel selfie camera at the front housed in the hole-punch.

It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset is fuelled by a 4,200mAh battery and charges over the proprietary 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC, while a USB Type-C port is there for charging and file transfer.

Huawei P40 Lite Price

The Huawei P40 Lite comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The base variant with 6GB RAM is reportedly priced at EUR 299 (approx. Rs. 23,378). However, there is no word on the price of 8GB of RAM model. The smartphone has arrived in Midnight Black, Sakura Pink, and Crush Green color options and will be up for pre-orders starting March 2.
