Chinese giant Huawei has added another smartphone to its Huawei P40 series, dubbed as Huawei P40 Lite E. The company has unveiled the Huawei P40 Lite E before the scheduled launch of flagships – Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro on March 26. It will be available in two colors, Black and Aurora Blue.

Huawei P40 Lite E is priced at PLN 699 (approx Rs. 13,300) in Poland for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The company is yet to reveal the details regarding the other models. As we mentioned earlier, the phone has arrived in two colors: Black and Aurora Blue.
Huawei P40 Lite E Specifications
In terms of specs, the Huawei P40 Lite E boasts a 6.39-inch (720 x 1,560) LCD IPS display with slim bezels. It is fuelled by the octa-core Huawei Kirin 810 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz but the ‘Buy Now’ page states a Kirin 710F SoC. The GPU present in the Huawei P40 Lite E is the Mali G51-MP4. The phone will launch in a 4GB RAM variant only and has 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 512GB).
In the camera department, the Huawei P40 Lite E flaunts a triple camera setup on the rear and the setup will include a primary sensor of a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture, the secondary is an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and the third is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The punch-hole on the front will sport the 8-megapixel f/2.0 aperture shooter.
On the connectivity front, it has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n support, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro-USB port for charging. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back as well.
It will ship with Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1 on top. Under the hood, the handset will pack a 4,000mAh battery support for 10W charging. The handset measures 159.81×76.13×8.13mm and weigh just 176 grams.
