A Nova Y9a costs ZAR 6,499 (approx Rs 31,200). This device will be available for sale in the Middle East and Middle Asia as well. You can choose between Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black colour options.

Huawei Nova Y9a comes with a 6.63-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, it packs 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also features a slot for an NM card for additional storage.
The Nova Y9a features a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 120-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. It runs an older version of Android 10, with EMUI 10.1 skin. Similar to other Huawei smartphones, the Nova Y9a also lacks support for Google services.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 4,300mAh battery powers the Nova Y9a and supports 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology. Among the connectivity options are dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
