Huawei has quietly unveiled a brand-new Huawei Nova Y61 smartphone on its global website. As its name suggests, it is a successor to the Nova Y60 that made its debut last year. Currently, there is no information regarding the pricing or availability of the Huawei Nova Y61.
Huawei Nova Y61 Specifications
The Huawei Nova Y61 is fitted with a triple rear camera system featuring a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, there is a 5MP camera.
It measures 164.28 x 75.8 x 8.94mm and weighs 188 grams and comes in three different colors: Sapphire Blue, Mint Green, and Midnight Black.
In terms of screen size, the smartphone has a 6.52-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a dewdrop notch. Powering it is an unnamed chipset with an octa-core CPU.
The device has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage in the Asia Pacific region. The device is available in the rest of the world with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In some regions, it is available with dual SIM, but in other regions, it can only be used with a single SIM card. NFC is also limited to certain regions.
Software-wise, the device runs EMUI 12 with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS). The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.
