A new Huawei Nova Y60 smartphone has been launched in South Africa. Priced at ZAR 3,099 (roughly Rs. 15,300), Huawei‘s Nova Y60 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There are two colour options for the phone: Crush Green and Midnight Black.
Preorders are now open on Huawei’s official website, and sales will begin on September 1. The pre-order offers also include a free Bluetooth headset, worth ZAR 699 (approx. Rs. 3,400), and a free HUAWEI CM510 Mini Speaker, worth ZAR 599 (approx. Rs. 2,900).
Huawei Nova Y60 specifications
It sports a 6.6-inch HD+ TFT LCD display with 720×1,600 pixels resolution. The MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC powers this device. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A microSD card allows for further storage expansion (up to 512GB).
There are three cameras on the Huawei Nova Y60’s rear, including a 13MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an F/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an F/2.4 aperture. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture is on the front of the device.
It runs on EMUI 11.01 based on Android 10. Huawei Nova Y60 has a 5,000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the side. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS.
