Huawei already launched Nova 8 series that includes Nova 8 SE (Dimensity 800U and Dimensity 700 CPU variants), Nova 8 5G, Nova 8 Pro 5G, and Nova 8 Pro 4G smartphones. According to a fresh article published by Playfuldroid, the company will soon launch the Nova 8i in Southeast Asian markets.
Huawei Nova 8i Specifications (Expected)
The Nova 8i will have a 6.67-inch LCD punch-hole panel that supports a Full HD+ resolution, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 94.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.
There will be a circular camera module on the back of the phone, similar to the one on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The camera will feature a 64-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Unfortunately, there is no details on the front sensor.
This mid-range device will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset and a 4,300mAh battery that will offer 66W Huawei SuperCharge capabilities. According to the company, the handset can be fully charged in just 38 minutes.
Android 10-based EMUI 11 skin will be preloaded on the Huawei Nova 8i. Huawei will introduce HarmonyOS to this device in the future. It will come in three colors, including Moonlight Silver, Starry Black, and Interstellar Blue.
