The Huawei Nova 8 SE smartphone has been launched in China. The new Huawei phone comes in two chipset variants: Dimensity 720 and Dimensity 800U. It offers the same specifications and features except for the chipset. The key highlights of the Huawei Nova 8 SE are a quad-camera setup, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and 66W fast charging.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE costs 2,599 Yuan (approx. Rs 29,100) for the Dimensity 720 chipset powered variant and 2,699 Yuan (approx. Rs 30,221) for the model with Dimensity 800U chipset. It comes in Magic Night Black, Dark Blue, Silver Moon Start, and Sakura Snow Clear Sky colorways.

The phone comes with a large 6.53-inch OLED screen that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE powered by the Dimensity 720 chipset along with 5G + 4G dual SIM connectivity. Nova 8 SE High Edition is driven by the Dimensity 800U chip and it supports 5G + 5G dual SIM connectivity. The Nova 8 SE features an 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The storage is further expandable using a microSD card. On the camera front, the phone equips a quad-camera setup at the rear panel and a single camera at the front.
To start with the front, it is loaded with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. For the rear, it features a square-shaped quad-camera module that has a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens with f/2.4 aperture.
The Huawei Nova 8 SE packs a 3,800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging technology. It runs on Android 10 with Huawei’s EMUI 10.1 skin on top of it. On the connectivity front, it supports dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
