Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G launched with Kirin 710A, quad-rear cameras

In China, Huawei has unveiled the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G smartphone, part of the Nova 8 series. The key highlights of the Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G are the OLED display, Kirin 710A processor, in-display fingerprint sensor, and quad-rear camera setup.

Priced at CNY 2,099 (Rs 24,587), is available for buyers in China starting from today. It is available in four colors: Black, White, Silver, and Blue.

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G Specifications

Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G features a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 403 PPI pixel density, DCI-P3 color gamut and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710A chipset paired with 8GB RAM RAM and 128GB storage. There is no microSD card support on this handset, so storage is limited to 128GB. As far as software is concerned, HarmonyOS 2 runs out of the box on the Nova 8 SE 4G.

The smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a pair of 2MP macro and depth camera sensors. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

As for connectivity, the Nova 8 SE 4G comes with features such as a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB-C port. A 3,800mAh battery powers the device and supports 33W fast charging. The device measures 7.5mm thick and weighs 180 grams.
