Huawei Nova 6 5G is going to be officially revealed to the world on December 5. However, it seems the smartphone is having a tough time keeping itself in covers. Ahead of the official announcement, Huawei Nova 6 5G has now been leaked in live images, giving us a better look at the smartphone, and detailing the design language being adopted by the Chinese giant Huawei.
The live image revealed by Themobileindian shows the front and back wide of a smartphone. As you can see in the leaked images, the upcoming Huawei Nova 6 5G will come with a notch-less display that has a pill-shaped cutout on the top left corner that houses two selfie cameras.
On the rear side, the image shows a vertically-aligned triple camera setup coupled with a LED flash. Alongside the camera, there is a 3D ToF sensor or a laser autofocus. On the right side, the handset features power and volume rocker button with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei Nova will come in 4G and 5G editions with model numbers WLZ-AL10 and WLZ-AN00 respectively. Huawei Nova 6 5G will also come with standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. The 5G model is tipped to pack the Kirin 990 5G SoC.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is said to feature a 6.44-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 60Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the quad-camera setup on the rear will include a 60-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel secondary shooter and two 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, the Huawei Nova 6 5G is expected to pack a 32MP sensor and a 12MP secondary shooter.
The device is also tipped to come with a 4,000 mAh battery with 40W. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Kirin 990 chipset paired with 8GB/128GB and 12G/256GB storage variants.
The Huawei Nova 6 is rumoured to be priced at 3,499 Yuan for the base model. However, there is no official word from the company on the Huawei Nova 6 5G’s price.
