Huawei has scheduled a launch event on June 21 in China which the next Nova series of smartphones including the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro are expected to launch. There have been already numerous leaks and rumors of the Nova 5 series smartphones, now an official new teaser hints that the upcoming Huawei Nova 5 series phones will be available in a bevy of bright colors.
Furthermore, the Pro variant of the Huawei Nova 5, the Nova 5 Pro has been listed on a leading Chinese e-commerce portal. Along with this, alleged hands-on images of the Huawei Nova 5 have also surfaced online, while details about the processors for all three variants have been detailed.
As per the latest teaser that was shared on Weibo, the phone might be launched in multiple color options with bright shades. According to the latest leak by a popular leakster Slashleaks, the Huawei Nova 5i will reportedly be fuelled by the Kirin 710 chipset whereas the Nova 5 will be powered by the Kirin 810 SoC, while the Nova 5 Pro will draw power from the Kirin 980 SoC.
Talking about the Huawei Nova 5i, the handset recently spotted on the TENAA regulatory site. The handset is likely to sport a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and will reportedly be powered by the Kirin 710 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The device is expected to come equipped with a quad rear camera and a 24-megapixel front camera.
As we said earlier, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro has been listed on Chinese shopping site JingDong Mall. Although there is information available regarding the pricing and specifications, the listing states that the smartphone will be available in Dilemma Forest, Midsummer Purple, Bright Black, and Coral Orange color options. The phone is listed with an image that shows a quad rear camera and a waterdrop notch up front. As of now, two versions of the Huawei Nova 5 Pro are listed on the website – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. JingDong Mall is currently accepting pre-orders for the phone.
