Huawei with a lot of rumors and gossips on its upcoming smartphone nova 3 is finally announced its launch date on July 18. The Huawei is a known brand for an exceptional smartphone for every price segment. Recently unveiled Huawei P20 and P20 lite have caught everyone attention with its triple camera setup and which made the brand a top-selling manufacturer.
During a recent press conference, the Chinese manufacturer had confirmed that the launch event of Nova 3 will be held at Shenzhen Universiade Stadium on July 18. Today, the company has officially confirmed through its Weibo account that the Nova 3 will go official on July 18 in China.
Apart from China, the Huawei Nova 3 is also expected to get announced in the Philippines on July 28. One of the major highlights of this notched display smartphone is that it will be equipped with a dual selfie and rear cameras.
The Huawei nova 3 looks like the Huawei P20 Lite but will have different specs, per TENAA. The chipset will have octa-core CPU at 2.3 GHz, which is what the Kirin 659 runs, although there are rumors about a Kirin 710 SoC. RAM is expected to be 6 GB, while storage is either 64 or 128 GB. The screen will have a 6.3” LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution in 19:9 ratio.
The handset will be drawing power from 3,650mAh battery. The EMUI based Android 8.1 Oreo OS will be available preinstalled on the phone. A fingerprint reader is placed on the back panel of the phone. It is confirmed that the handset will be arriving in colors like light blue, gold and bluish-purple.
For snappers, the Nova 3 will offer a dual selfie setup featuring a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The vertically stacked dual camera unit on the rear of the Nova 3 includes a 16-megapixel sensor and a 24-megapixel sensor.
