The Huawei MatePad T8 comes with an 8-inch LCD display having an HD+ resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. The panel touts an 80% screen to body ratio.
Powering the tablet at its core is the octa-core MediaTek MT8768 with IMG GE8320 650 GPU. The device gets 2GB of RAM and is available in 16GB and 32GB of internal storage options. The storage can be expanded further up to 512GB via a microSD card.
In the optics department, the Huawei MatePad T8 gets a single 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The handset runs Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 on top. All of this gets backed by a 5,100mAh battery with support for 5W fast charging. The brand claims that this battery will offer 12 hours of local video playback and 12 hours of browsing web pages.
Lastly, the connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet measures 199.7 x 121.1 x 8.55 mm and weighs 310 grams.
