Huawei MatePad T8 is coming to India, a tweet from Huawei India has revealed. The company noted in a puzzle published on Twitter that it would launch the Huawei MatePad T8 in the country soon. As of right now, it is not clear how much the MatePad T8 will be priced in India or when it will come.
Even though the tweet not revealed the exact name of the upcoming product launching in India, the teaser has a cross-word puzzle to fill in the blanks with a letter that spells “MatePad T8”. The words used to describe the tablet are metal body, big battery, an octa-core processor among others. To recall, the brand has unveiled the Huawei MatePad T8 in Romania in May this year.

Huawei MatePad T8 has an 8-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels and screen to body ratio of 80%. Under the hood, it packs octa-core MediaTek MT8768 with IMG GE8320 650 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM and comes in 16GB and 32 of internal storage options. The storage can be expanded further up to 512GB via a microSD card.
Huawei MatePad T8 gets a single 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, there’s a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture.
Running on Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 skin, it packs a 5,100mAh battery with support for 5W fast charging. The brand claims that this battery will offer 12 hours of local video playback and 12 hours of browsing web pages.
Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet measures 199.7 x 121.1 x 8.55 mm and weighs 310 grams.
