Huawei introduced its MatePad SE tablet to the Chinese market earlier this year. A new moniker for the tablet has been introduced in other global markets by the brand – Huawei MatePad C5e.

The Huawei MatePad SE has not yet been made available on the company’s web store in Japan, but its price is expected to be about JPY30,000 (approx. Rs 16,592) – similar to the Huawei MatePad SE in China.

Huawei MatePad C5e Specifications

The Huawei MatePad C5e uses a 10.1-inch Full HD+ IPS display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and an 80% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on a Kirin 710 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card.

There are dual-channel speakers on the tablet, as well as support for Histen 7.0 Sound. On the back, you’ll find a 5-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.

As for software, the Huawei MatePad C5e comes with Android 12-based EMUI 10.1. The device has a 5,100mAh battery and 10W fast charging capability.
