Huawei Mate 40 series is set to debut on October 22. Thanks to various leaks, we already know many details of the upcoming Huawei smartphones. Now, ahead of the unveiling more details about the Huawei Mate 40 series have surfaced online, which revealed the colour options.
According to the leak, the Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro smartphones will be available in Bright Black, Cosmic Silver, Pearl White, a new Green hue, and a Yellow colour options. For the first time, Huawei will be offering a yellow colour variant. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the RS Porsche Edition will have a ceramic back panel.
The phones are tipped to be powered by the Huawei Kirin 9000 SoC, which is built on a 5nm process, as the company is teasing series with a tagline “Leap Further Ahead”. Further, it is said to sport a similar display design as the Huawei P40 Pro series. So, we can expect a curved OLED display with a pill-shaped cutout for a selfie camera alongside a TOF 3D sensor for face unlock.
The handsets are likely to ship with the latest EMUI 11 skin based on the Android 11 operating system. However, the report suggests that the standard Mate 40 may boot EMUI 10.1 instead of the latest EMUI 11.
