After several leaks and rumors, Huawei has finally made the Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) official. The device comes with 5G support. In terms of specs, the handset is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 X. The device has appeared in the form of retail packaging before the Chinese smartphone maker made it official and there is a good chance the phone may land in India soon as well. However, there is no information regarding its exact availability yet.

Talking about the price of the Huawei Mate 20X (5G), it is priced at £999 (approx. Rs 90,000) in the UK, according to GSMArena and it will be available in Emerald Green from June. Pre-orders for the handset begin in late May, and buyers will be able to purchase the device from EE, O2, Three, Vodafone, and other select retailers. The non-5G version of the smartphone is priced at £750 (approximately Rs 67,300) in the UK.

The hardware on the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G includes the Balong 5000 5G modem to offer 5G services. The Huawei Mate 20 X packs whopping 5000mAh battery whereas the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G variant has only 4200mAh battery, which is significantly low from the 4G variant. Still, the 4200mAh is a decent number and the 5G variant has support for 40W SuperCharge.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G sports a huge 7.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2244 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The device is also IP53 certified for water and dust resistance. It also sports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and includes Dual Smart PA for Hi-Fi audio output.

The camera unit in Huawei Mate 20 X 5G includes three sensors at the back. It consists of a 40MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture; a third 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The front cameras are housed inside the waterdrop notch which consists of a 24MP primary sensor. On the software front, the handset runs Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.0.
