Ahead of the official launch, the Huawei Mate 20 camera features were uncovered the new features that we might expect from new Mate 20 Pro. The information was found by XDA Developers during an APK teardown of Huawei’s upcoming EMUI software, which means that Huawei is definitely working on these features, that surfaced last week. of course, whatever information that we get from teardown might not be the actual product we get in the retail box but let’s take a look.

According to report the Huawei it sounds like the software could be getting upgraded, as there’s evidence of an Underwater Mode, AI Zoom and more.

As per the information the Mate 20 Pro is believed to be able to record video with the artificial bokeh that can be used to take photos.

The new feature called underwater mode which allows you to use the volume buttons to take a photo or video and the power key to launch or exit the camera. currently, most of the flagship phones are have some sort of IP-rating for protection of water damage, the general recommendation is that you shouldn’t intentionally submerge a smartphone as there is still the risk of water damage. And this means the company is not suggesting you dunk your phone in bare water. Here the graphic shows a picture of a phone in a sophisticated plastic bag that s the Huawei will sell waterproof cases.

Next moving to AI Zoom this feature will automatically adjust the video’s zoom level to properly keep the subject centred and in some kind of frame. The code reveals that the video must be recorded in at least 1080p, The AI cinema feature will not work on this feature and Where AI cinema allows users to add a number of different filters while recording video. The filters available include AI Color, Background Blur, Fresh, Vintage and Suspense.

Video Bokeh, like AI Zoom and AI Cinema, will require support in the camera HAL. Specifically, the videoBokehSpotShapeSupported and videoBokehSpotShapeValueSupported camera capabilities must be defined is expected that Mate 20 will support this, though we can’t confirm if the feature is actually enabled on the device.

The teardown features will not guarantee whether all features revealed in it will be present in the final product.
