The Huawei Mate 20 hands-on video is posted on China’s Weibo. On the IFA 2018, the company Huawei announced to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
According to the leaked images found on the Weibo and it reveals that the Mate 20 Pro will sport a notched display and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mate 20 will have a waterdrop screen with a tiny notch and rear-facing fingerprint sensor that we’ve seen on recently launched OPPO F9.
As you can see in the video, both the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will sport triple camera setup on the rear.
Since the Mate 20 accompanies a minor V-shaped notch, it will miss the Face ID-like tech that Huawei is reputed to present with the Mate 20 Pro. From the video, we can see the Mate 20 with 3D curved glass back body. It will be fueled by the 7nm Kirin 980 octa-center processor paired with Mali G76 GPU and double NPU. The Kirin 980 will contend with the 7nm Apple A12 Bionic chip driving the most recent iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
Moreover, to support this rendered video, the back covers of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro leaked and shows the same design as in the video.
Officially, there is no information regarding the specifications of the phone. However, the Mate 20 is expected to launch with a massive 4,200mAh battery. On the storge department, it seems the device will have an internal storage of 128 GB and at least of 6 GB of RAM. Both Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is expected to arrive with an Android 9 Pie out of the box. If this comes true, these both phones will be the Huawei’s first phone to come with Android Pie. Huawei Mate 20 is also said to support fast and wireless charging.
