Huawei is set to bring Mate 20 Pro with a fast wireless charger In India next month.

Chinese Tech giant, Huawei announced on Tuesday that it is prepping up to unveil its Premium Mate 20 Pro with wireless capabilities In the Indian market later this month. The company had launched the Mate 20 series alongside with a bunch of other products in London earlier this month. The selling points of this smartphone are it houses a triple camera setup on its back and fast wireless charging feature.

Samsung Galaxy smartphones also featured with wireless charging, but realistically it isn’t as fast as wired charging. while Huawei got a new approach where the wireless charger is developed on the Qi standard for universal compatibility, thus, allowing it to identify smartphones, earbuds and other devices and adjust output power automatically to charge them safely.

“With a 10-minute 15W wireless charging session, the wireless charger tops up the battery 12 per cent, while a 30-minute charge gives the battery 31 per cent” stated by the company.

It also added” “With the launch of the flagship Mate 20 Pro slated next month, wireless reverse charging is also a feature that the device is capable of, thus, enabling users to take maximum advantage of the large battery inside the device to charge other Qi-enabled devices,”.

The Mate 20 Pro smartphone will go sale in India exclusively via Amazon India in November. The handset acts as a power bank to wirelessly charge other compatible devices.

Talking about the features, The Mate 20 Pro would be the first device from Huawei’s stable which is powered by the world’s first 5G-ready 7nm (nanometre) chipset Kirin 980.T he smartphone comes with well equipped Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The key feature in the device is it comes wireless charger includes comprehensive safety protection features through which the device detects foreign objects such as keys, coins and other metal objects and automatically powers off.
