Huawei Band 6 launched with two-week battery life, 96 workout modes

Chinese brand Huawei has launched its fitness wearable, the Huawei Band 6, in Malaysia. The Huawei Band 6 comes with a large AMOLED display, along with several key features. Let’s take a look at the design, specs, and price of the Huawei Band 6.

Huawei Band 6 Price, Availability

Huawei Band 6 comes with a price tag of RM 219 (approx. Rs. 3,800) in the Malaysian market. It can be bought in colors like Amber Sunrise, Forest Green, and Graphite Black. The Huawei Band 6 will go on sale in Malaysia for the first time on April 4 through the official Huawei online store.

Huawei Band 6 Features, Specifications

The latest Huawei Band 6 features a larger 1.47-inch AMOLED Full-View (194×368 pixels) colour display with a 64 percent screen-to-body ratio. The wearable offers up to two weeks of battery life or up to 10 days with heavy usage on a single charge, as per the company’s claim. Also, it can offer two days of battery life in just five minutes of charging. 

The new wearable Huawei Band 6 is said to offer 96 workout modes that include running, swimming, elliptical, rowing, treadmill, etc. Other ancillary features of the Huawei Band 6 include a magnetic charging thimble, supports Bluetooth v5.0 and has a side-button for navigation support. 

Huawei also added the menstrual cycle tracking feature and the option to control music playing through the phone on the latest band. It also supports app notifications, alerts for incoming calls and messages, weather updates, and a remote shutter for the phone’s camera connected to the wearable, other features as well. The fitness band measures 43×25.4×10.99mm and weighs just 18 grams. The band has a UV-treated silicone strap and the band is 5ATM (up to 50 meters) water-resistant.

It comes with the company’s own TruSeen 4.0 24×7 heart rate monitoring, TruRelax stress monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, and SpO2 blood oxygen saturation monitoring technology.
