The latest “Flagship Killer” Oneplus T special edition is going to launch in an event at Richardson and Cruddas Limited in Byculla, Mumbai, where the smartphone is going to be unveiled. The event goes with “Salute to Speed” name that was hosted as a OnePlus’ fifth anniversary, That will allow the Oneplus 6T lovers to experience the device. Where the company already sold out event passes on the previous week.

OnePlus, as usual, will host the live streaming the India launch of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition on its social media handles. The event is going to kick off at 06:00 PM (Indian Standard Time), so all you have to do is head over to OnePlus’ official YouTube channel and start watching.

OnePlus has also introduced Warp Charge 30 technology with the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. The new 30W charging tech is said to power the battery of the special edition handset enough to last an entire day in just 20 minutes. The company claims that the 3700mAh battery on the phone will be topped to 50 per cent in 20 minutes. However, it remains to be tested whether the charge remains the entire day.

On Design prospective the device also gets a new Papaya Orange braided charging/data cable. The phone will also include exclusive software animations, tuned to McLaren’s unique style and history.

In terms of hardware internals, the device gets the same internals as the standard OnePlus 6T. It sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and runs on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. On Imaging duties, A dual rear camera on the phone comprises of a primary 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 20MP Sony IMX376K sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The device’s main camera can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and supports Super Slow Motion Video recording with options of 720p at 480fps and 1080p at 240fps. On the front is a 16MP Sony IMX371 sensor with a f/2.0 aperture.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be launched in India today. The company will announce its India price and availability at the launch event.
