After the successful launch of RealMe 1 in May last year, RealMe launched three new phones named RealMe 2, RealMe 2 Pro, RealMe C1 and a selfie expert RealMe U1. The main reason for the launch of RealMe C1 is that the company decided to take on the entry-level smartphone market. The RealMe 1 has a modern notch display, great look, and more importantly a very pocket-friendly price tag.
No doubt, RealMe C1 is one of the best budget-friendly phones and it runs on company’s proprietary Color OS. However, compared to features in other RealMe phones such as RealMe 2 and RealMe 2 Pro, this phone is missing dual apps or clone apps feature which is basically the same feature that we’ve seen in Xiaomi phones which allows you to run two WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook accounts on one device.
On Realme community forum, the company clarified that won’t be implementing ‘Clone Apps’ feature. “The reason is due to the shortage of RAM. Clone Apps itself needs RAM to run in the background, and so require the applications which have been cloned,” the company mentioned. If you are still searching for a way to run multiple WhatsApp, Facebook accounts on your RealMe C1, then here is a simple method.
To run multiple apps in one device, dozens of third-party Android apps available in Google Play Store that will favor creating two accounts. Some apps are there to let you switch between accounts without logging out from one. You can tap on a few screens and move directly into the second user account. To name a few Parallel Space, Dual Space, and 2Accounts. As we mentioned earlier, there are many multiple account manager apps available on the Google Play Store. But the apps that we mentioned provide you ease in managing multiple accounts. Just install any one of these apps and open it. Add your favorite app and give the required permissions, you can set up the second WhatsApp or Facebook or Telegram account. That’s it! You’re done! Every time you want to access the other account, you will have to open the app (say Parallel Space), and then run the app.
Note that, these apps drain some amount of the battery and you may feel some laggy experience as Realme said, is due to the low amount of RAM.
