WhatsApp – widely used chatting app recently introduced Stickers on their platform. WhatsApp has added 12 stickers pack for its users as of now, but the company has added support for third-party sticker packs too. Interestingly, you can create your own custom WhatsApp stickers pack and send them to your chats.
So, here is a detailed guide on how to create your own custom stickers packs for WhatsApp and start sending own stickers to your family and friends.
How to Create Your Own WhatsApp Sticker Pack
- If you want to create your own sticker packs, then you need to download the ‘Sticker maker for WhatsApp’ app from the Google Play Store.
- Once the app is downloaded, open the app and click on the “Create a new sticker pack” option.
- Now, enter the sticker pack’s name and author.
- In the next step, you will need to first set up a tray icon and add a picture from gallery or capture a new one
- Crop the image to make your own sticker and click ‘Yes, Save Sticker’ to add that sticker to your pack.
- Now, you need at least 3 stickers to publish a pack and add it to WhatsApp.
- So, create some more stickers by following the above steps
- At last, you need to hit the ‘Publish Sticker Pack’ button at the bottom right to add the stickers on WhatsApp
- Done! Now open WhatsApp, click on the ‘emoji’ icon and navigate to ‘Stickers’ section to view and send your created stickers
- Now take fun by sending these stickers across to your contacts and friends.
You can add up to 30 stickers in one sticker pack using this ‘Sticker maker for WhatsApp’ app. Moreover, you will need to add all 30 stickers at once as the pack cannot be edited once published on WhatsApp. You can publish with lesser stickers also (Minimum 3), but cannot add more to the pack upon publishing. This app even allows you to restart cropping if you go wrong somewhere in between. It should be noted that the custom WhatsApp stickers option is only available for Android users for now. If you can’t add the stickers to WhatsApp, it means you haven’t received the latest update. You can wait for the update to come via google play, or update via the website of WhatsApp.
