Honor is preparing to launch new X-series smartphones in China on October 28. Honor has announced the release of the X30i and the X30 Max. Both devices will be unveiled four days after the release of the Honor Play5 Vitality Edition. An invite for the event has been sent out that reveals the designs of the two phones.
As of now, we have no information regarding the international availability of the Honor X-series. The details will likely be revealed at Honor’s launch event in China on October 28.
Honor X30i features a square-shaped camera module on the back with three cameras. There is also an LED flash inside the cutout. The company has not revealed any specifications yet.
There are two cameras on the back of the X30 Max, as indicated by the teaser invite. It is rumored to come with a primary camera of 64MP and a depth sensor of 2MP. The camera module will also house the LED flash.
The X30 Max also has a large 7.09-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution, as reported by other sources. It will also come with a Dimensity 900 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. There is a 5000mAh battery on the Honor device that supports fast charging at 22.5W.
As for the X30i, it is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate support and hole-punch cutout for an 8MP selfie camera. It is expected to feature a 4000 mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charger and a Dimensity 810 SoC. According to rumors, there will be a 48MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors.
