Popular smartphone maker Huawei has unveiled its Honor Play 8A smartphone last year. But the company is yet to reveal its successor officially and even there are no official words on the Honor Play 9A. However, leaks have already started pouring about the Honor Play 9A, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, an official render of the upcoming Honor Play 9A has surfaced online, suggesting the design of the upcoming Huawei smartphone.
The render of the Honor Play 9A was shared by PriceBaba in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal. As per the alleged renders, Honor Play 9A will come with a 6.3-inch IPS display with a waterdrop-style notch. There will be a volume rocker and power button on the right edge of the smartphone. Further, the handset will feature the 3.5mm audio jack and the USB port at the bottom.
The back panel of the smartphone shows a vertically-stacked dual-camera setup alongside the fingerprint sensor. The bottom of the back panel shows the Honor branding.
The handset is rumored to be fuelled by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. In the camera department, the phone is tipped to come with 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the rear. There will be an 8-megapixel camera inside the waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the device is likely to pack a massive 5,000mAh battery with standard 10W charging support.
The Honor Play 9A also spotted on China’s TENAA regulatory website TENAA it revealed few j=key specs of the phone. As per the TENAA listing, the Honor Play 9A will measure 159.07×74.06×9.04mm and will run on Android. However, the listing shows the phone with a 4,900mAh battery. The model number of the smartphone is also unclear, although, the identical specifications were spotted on model numbers MED-AL20 and MOA-AL20 on TENAA.
Considering the specifications and renders leak, the launch of the Honor Play 9A is around the corner.
