Honor Note 10 With 6.95-Inch Display, GPU Turbo Launched: Price, Specifications

After many teasers and rumours, Honor finally launched its latest smartphone  Honor Note 10 phablet today at an event in China. Unlike previous honor flagship devices this is the decent phablet with key highlights being its large 6.95-inch full-HD+ display and GPU Turbo support. The handset also includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby panoramic audio. The new phablet is the successor of Honor Note 8.

The company has used an AMOLED display that comes with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio on the Honor Note 10. The handset comes display without a notch on top and it has been launched in Phantom Blue and Midnight Black colour variants. There is also a special Lily White colour model of the device.

Honor Note 10: Price, Availability

The new Honor Note 10 comes with a price tag 2,799 yuan (Rs.28,100 approx.) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The next variant priced at 3,199 yuan (Rs.32,100 approx.)with Gb RAM and 128 GB.And the higher variant Priced at 3,599 yuan (Rs.36,100 approx.) is the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. All these variants will go on sale in China on August 3 at 10:08 am through e-commerce sites including VMall, Jingdong, Tmall, and Suning among others. There is no word about Indian launch and pricing of the device.

Honor Note 10 Specs:

The Honor Note 10 features a 6.95-inch AMOLED Full HD+ FullView display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The display panel notably doesn’t have the notch design that has largely been trending in the current market. The company says that there is a 20 percent increase in the display’s quality.

The smartphone runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks. It is the first Huawei smartphone to come with CPU Turbo technology. Honor has even added a physical heat dissipation coil to ensure that the chipset runs cool at all times. There are a total of nine layers of cooling technology on the phablet.

The phone comes with GPU Turbo technology that was teased last month. There is an option to turn on with physical button provided on the device when it is enabled the turbo mode performs intelligent cleaning in the background and raise the CPU clock speeds to ensure flawless performance.

In memory Department, Honor will be offering its latest flagship phablet in three configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Coming to optics, the Honor Note 10 comes equipped with a 24MP + 16MP AI dual camera setup on the rear. On the front is a 13MP AI-powered sensor. The previously mentioned physical Turbo button can be used for capturing an image when using the camera app and as AI is the buzzword, the company has used it in various aspects of the device.

The most impressive feature is the smartphone equipped with dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos and is backed by a 5000mAh battery, which supports Huawei’s proprietary SuperCharge technology. The company claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 17.5 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.

The Honor Note 10 also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock support, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of software, the phablet runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 out of the box.
