Honor Band 5 is set to launch in India on August 8. The company has confirmed the price and availability details of the Honor Band 5 in India by listing it on the Flipkart. The Honor Band 5 will debut as the successor to the Honor Band 4 that was launched in India back in December last year.
Huawei already launched the Honor Band 5 in the home country China a few weeks ago with a starting price of 189 yuan (Rs. 1982). As we mentioned earlier, the Honor Band 5 will be launched in India on August 8 (i.e tomorrow) and it will be priced at Rs. 2,999 (approx $32).
Honor Band 5 Features
The Huawei’s Honor Band 5 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display with 282 PPI and 2.5D curved glass. It sports a number of new dials to match the different needs of the user.
The company introduced the new blood oxygen level sensor on the latest Honor Band 5 which can measure the blood SpO2 levels, highlighting the level of oxygen in the user’s blood. The Honor Band 5 also boasts a 24×7 heart rate monitoring sensor, sleep monitor with the ability to detect six different types of sleeping problems, and 10 different sports modes that include indoor and outdoor running, cycling, swimming, and a few other physical activities.
Similar to the Honor Band 4 the new Honor Band 5 also a waterproof. This means the Honor Band 5 can sustain in water up to 50 meters. Other features of this fitness tracker include remote camera capture, smart reminders, phone finder. Huawei claims that the Honor Band 5 can deliver 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

The new Honor Band 5 is launched in two variants — Standard variant and an NFC variant. It will be available for the buyers in three colors options that include Black, Blue, and Light Pink.
