Honor 9X May Launch In India By The End Of 2019

Honor 9X was launched in China in July this year in the mid-range price segment. The company is very keen to introduce this smartphone to the Indian smartphone market as its predecessor Honor 8X received a good response from the people in the country.

Charles Peng, President, Honor India now confirmed that the Honor 9X will be launched by the end of 2019 in India. But there is a single biggest question still remain on the consumers’ mind is that whether the upcoming Huawei/Honor devices will come with Google services or not. Mr.Peng confirmed that the upcoming Honor 9X will be launched in the country with Google Play Store access.

Mr. Peng told Press Trust of India, “We are going to launch Honor 9X by the end of this year in India. It will be on Android,” Honor 9X was launched with Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 in July, before the US government ban on Huawei. This means the Honor 9X will run on a full-fledged version of Android with access to Google apps and updates.

Honor 9X Specifications

To talk about the Honor 9X specifications, it is featured with a 6.59-inch OLED display and comes powered by a new 7nm Kirin 810 processor.

It comes with a dual-camera setup on the back comprising of a 48MP primary camera and a 2MP camera with a depth sensor.  On the front, it comes mounted with a 16MP selfie camera for selfies.

Honor 9X runs Android 9.0 Pie OS along with EMUI 9.1.1 skinned on top. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with RAM up to 8GB and 256GB onboard storage.

The company also confirmed that it will launch Honor Vision smart TV in India early next year. This smart TV comes with a  55-inch 4K display, an AI pop-up camera and runs HarmonyOS.
