Honor unveiled two new entry-level smartphones in India: Honor 9A and Honor 9S. Both the phones run on Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10 OS with in-house AppGallery. Honor 9A specifications
The Honor 9A sports a 6.3-inch display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution. Powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, it packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which is expandable up to 512GB.
On the rear, it has a triple camera setup with 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel super-wide-angle + 2-megapixel depth camera sensors. Upfront, you get an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Ticking all these is a 5,000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Honor 9S specifications
The Honor 9S features a 5.45-inch HD+ display (1440 x 720 pixels). In terms of optics, it comes with a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the back with a flash.
It is powered by the MediaTek’s Helio P22 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB native storage. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB. On the software front, it ships with Android 10-based Magic UI 3.1 and backed by a 3,020mAh battery. The phone has a TUV Rheinland certified Eye Comfort mode, which reduces eye strain.
Honor 9A, Honor 9S Price in India and availability
The Honor 9A is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be available at an inaugural price of Rs 8,999. Meanwhile, the Honor 9S will be priced in India at Rs 6,499 but will be available at a special inaugural price of Rs 5,999 on Flipkart. The Honor 9A will go on sale via the Amazon India website, whereas Honor 9S will be sold via Flipkart. Honor 9A launched in phantom blue and midnight black colors. Honor 9S, on the other hand, will be available in blue and black colors.
