Recently Honor launched the latest budget smartphone Honor 8A Pro in the Russian market. It is featured with a waterdrop style notched display and a 6-inch HD+ panel. It is also powered with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and run Android 9 Pie OS.
The parent company, Huawei is now planning to launch Honor 8S and the specifications and other information of the smartphone is leaked online before the official announcement.
According to a report by WinFuture.de, The upcoming Honor 8S is expected to come with a 5.71-inch IPS LCD display along with a 2.5D curved tempered glass. The leaks also suggest that the smartphone might be featured with a waterdrop-style notch and a thick chin. It is powered with MediaTek Helio A22 CPU coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Online sources also suggest that Honor 8S will be available 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option in the Western Europe market. The storage can also further extended up to 256GB via microSD. This smartphone will also run on Android 9 Pie OS along with custom EMUI 9.0 skin on top. As of now, there’s no information related to the price is available.
The smartphone is also featured with a 13MP camera on the back with a single tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. Honor 8S won’t come with fingerprint scan technology but could support Face Unlock.
On the back, it is packed with a 3,020mAh Li-ion battery. The Honor 8S will be available in three color variants Black, Blue, and Gold and will go official in the coming days.
