Honor subbrand of Huawei already introduced a plenty of devices in this year. The company also launched its first gaming smartphone which featured its proprietary GPU Turbo technology. Now the company again shined in the news with its upcoming smartphone, the Honor Play 8C. The smartphone is soon going to be unveiled in China. And the device already spotted on TENAA as well, revealing most of its specification details.
Honor Play 8C: Key Highlights in Teaser
While we look keen into the to the image posted on Chinese social network, Weibo, the Honor Play 8C has a display notch on top of the front panel. Well, it looks like Honor is following the notch design for quite some time it in its recently launched Honor devices.
The teaser image of the device also includes the caption – Charging Up – hints that the phone could house a massive battery or fast-charging technology.
In the teaser image, we can also get the details regarding the launch date i.e. October 11, 2018, in Beijing, China. As this teaser is not confirmed by the official channels. We can look forward to Honor to unveil its launch details soon.
Honor 8C Specifications and Features
According to the Tenna listings, the smartphone will feature a 6.26-inch display with a notch and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The handset was listed with 1.8 GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Coming to memory configuration it comes with 64 GB options per listing we might also expect this to come in a 3GB and 32GB model similar to Honor 7C.
On the camera, The Honor 8C also sports a dual camera setup like its predecessor – with one 13-megapixel sensor with LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel front sensor.
The smartphone sports a rear fingerprint sensor, and a 3,900mAh battery. Honor 8C is expected to come in Blue, Black, Purple, Gold colour options.In terms of connectivity,the handset include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v5, and GPS + GLONASS.
