Honor 8C Gets Another Price Cut in India

Honor 8C has reportedly received its second price cut in India. Launched at a starting price of Rs. 11,999, the smartphone base variant can now be purchased on Amazon.in for Rs. 8999.

As we mentioned earlier, the Honor 8C was originally launched in the country with 4GB RAM with 32GB storage variants that were priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively, however, base variant went to down to Rs 9999 when its price cut was implemented. And now, the phone’s price has been lowered even further and will retail for Rs 8999 in India. However, there is no change in the price of 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and is listed at the original launch price of the Rs 12,999.

Honor 8C Specifications

The Honor 8C sports a 6.26-inch notched display with an HD+ screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. As mentioned, the panel further touts an impressive screen to body ratio of 80.4%.

Under the hood, the device gets powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage. Note that there’s a microSD card for storage expansion up to 256GB.

In the camera department, the handset sports 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras. For selfies, the handset gets an 8MP front-facing shooter. The device runs Android 8.1 with EMUI 8.2 on top and packs a 4000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS +GLONASS. The phone measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2 grams.
