Honor will launch its flagship range of smartphones, the Honor 50 series, on June 16. The design of the Honor 50 series phones have already been teased by the company. There have been a number of leaks and certification websites that have published the specifications and features of the three smartphones ahead of the official launch tomorrow.
There will be three devices in the series – an Honor 50, a 50 SE, and a 50 Pro. Now, Honor 50 and Honor 50 SE have appeared on the Geekbench revealing key details of the upcoming devices. Let’s take a detailed look at the upcoming Honor 50 series Geekbench listing.
Honor 50 and Honor 50 SE Geekbench listing
There are two Honor smartphones listed on the Geekbench certification site, where the model numbers are NTH-AN00 and JLH-AN00, which are expected to be the Honor 50 and Honor 50 SE. The listing did not reveal the model names, so we assume they are vanilla and SE models.
With model number NTH-AN00, the Honor 50 is expected to be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor, which has a base frequency of 1.80GHz.
According to Geekbench, the handset is paired with 8GB RAM and is able to achieve a single-core score of 784 and a multi-core score of 2841. Furthermore, the listing confirms that the phone will ship with Android 11.
Honor 50 SE with model number JLH-AN00 uses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with a base frequency of 2GHz and an 8GB RAM. In single-core testing, it scored 691 points, while in multi-core testing, it scored 2075 points. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box.
According to previous rumors, the Honor 50 SE comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The front-facing camera will be 16-megapixels. It will have a triple rear camera setup which includes a primary 100MP f/1.9 sensor and an ultrawide 8MP sensor, a macro 2MP sensor, and an LED flash.
