The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro are going to launch on May 21. Both the phones have gone through several leaks in the last few months. Out of all the leaks, one of the speculations that have been making rounds on the web is that the device will sport quad camera setup on the rear. Now, details about their cameras have surfaced indicating what the quad camera sensor on the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro will comprise of.

One of the reliable tipsters, SlashLeaks has posted the images of the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro showing the back panel of the devices along with its camera details. In the first image, one can clearly see the quad camera setup of the Honor 20. The first sensor on the image is a 16MP Super Wide-Angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 117° field of view. It is followed by the main camera which is a 48MP 1.6µm Sony IMX586 sensor with a 1/2” sensor size and an f/1.8 aperture. The primary camera uses 4-in-1 Light Fusion, shooting originally in 12MP and combining images into 48MP.

The third sensor is a 2MP f/2.4 1.6µm depth assist camera for portrait images. There is a LED flash below the camera setup. The final sensor is a 2MP Macro 1.75µm f/2.4 sensor.

The unconfirmed leak suggests that the quad camera setup on the Honor 20 Pro would use a 16MP Super Wide-Angle camera on top, 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor with a larger f/1.4 aperture together with 4-axis OIS below it and an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture which provides 3X optical zoom together with 4-axis OIS. At last, a 2MP 1.75µm f/2.4 Macro lens and the LED flash.

Undoubtedly, the Honor 20 Pro will have a better camera setup. It is worth to mention that the Honor 20 won’t be a great phone for video recording as it lacks image stabilization.

So, with this leak, we finally get to know the camera’s configurations of the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro way ahead of its official announcement. The highlights of both phones will be their 48MP primary sensor.
