Here is why Oneplus is worrying about upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10

| By Shandilya

Samsung already announced about its upcoming flagship  Galaxy S10 series launch event that will be commenced on Feb 20. But it seems that Samsung tends to bring this flagship at aggressive pricing to India just a month later its global launch which is likely to launch on March 6, a new report claims.

The sources also reveal the price of the upcoming Samsung S10 series smartphones where the new Samsung Galaxy S10e will be the cheaper one that is priced at something around Rs 50,000. Where the Galaxy S10 will be priced higher in range of around Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000, while the Samsung Galaxy S10+ could be effectively priced at around Rs 75,000. While coming to the prices these are certainly cheaper than their European or US counterparts as per rumoured pricing. And the report also suggests that Indian customers will be able to pre-order the smartphone just two weeks after the global launch, and will be up for sale on March 15.

After its intervention in the midrange smartphone segment in India with its latest Galaxy M10 and M20 with highly attractive specs at killing low price and now it took charge on the premium phone segment that would take on likes of Oneplus and Apple.

According to the Counterpart(research firm, The Oneplus is the leading premium smartphone brand in our country.where it recently crossed the Rs 50000 mark with its OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition now it looks difficult for the brand to continue with raise of prices on its upcoming devices.

However, Samsung would likely keep the prices of higher-end smartphone under 1 lakh that is less than the Apple’s iPhone XS and XR. That means the Samsung will keep tracking on the likes of the OnePlus in the Rs 50,000 market.

Now the customer will probably get a real choice either to opt Oneplus or flagship Samsung Galaxy S10e which will be priced around Rs 50,000. Along with this, the Samsung is also planning to bring its 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy S10+ in India as well, As of now the country having no plans to roll out 5G in the near further. However this, not an official confirmation, We look forward to seeing more info about the upcoming flagship which is expected to launch soon.
