After many leaks and teasers, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi K20 Series will be launched in India on July 17. It is also confirmed that Redmi K20 Series will be available on Flipkart and Official Mi Store. The Redmi K20 Series is grabbing audiences attention because of its premium specifications and an affordable price tag. Redmi K20 Pro will be the cheapest smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 855 processor.
As we already know that it is a tough task to get a newly launched Xiaomi smartphone in its early sales, Xiaomi is here with some unique plan for this upcoming series. The company has announced an Alpha Sale, this enables the fans to pre-book the smartphone and receive before anyone. The users are required to pay a nominal amount to book the smartphone and can pay the remaining amount once the price of the smartphones is announced.
How to pre-book Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro?
Buyers can pre-book the devices on July 12 at 12.00 PM. The pre-bookings will be live on both Official MI Store and Flipkart. The nominal amount to book the smartphone is just Rs.855, this may be a coincidence that Redmi K20 Pro comes powered with a Snapdragon “855” processor.
Once the smartphones are launched and prices are announced, buyers are required to pay the remaining amount to successfully book the smartphone. If the buyer is not interested to buy the smartphone by any chance, the token amount paid will be returned to the respective MI/Flipkart accounts as coupons which can be used for other orders in future.

This is the first time Xiaomi is doing this kind of sale for its smartphones. To talk about the specifications, both the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro come with a full-screen display with a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear camera setup. The top-end smartphone in this series Redmi K20 Pro backed by the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor and the Redmi K20 comes with a Snapdragon 730 processor. With the specifications and the price tag, Redmi K20 series will challenge the flagship smartphones like OnePlus 7, Asus 6Z and many other smartphones existing in the market.
