Google Pixel 4a codename revealed, will have Snapdragon 730 SoC

We have been hearing a lot about Google’s upcoming smartphone. The latest is on the handset’s codename, revealed by XDA Developers. Through a post, XDADevelopers discloses the Google Pixel 4A’s internal codename to be sunfish. There is nothing official on the same to confirm, but given the source, you can be sure of its authenticity.

In addition, the report shares some processor information of the phone. The report also notes that the Pixel 4A will get the juice from Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. The chipset also hints that the handset will not support 5G connectivity.

In the separate post, Google has confirmed that the forthcoming Pixel phones will come with AI-powered Recorder application that is already present on the Pixel 4. While replying to a Reddit user, the company’s executive hinted that the band is likely to bring the Recorder application to older Pixel phones with a software update. It will include Pixel 3 and Pixel 2 series phones.
