Google Pixel 4 XL Shines on Geekbench, Hints at A Big Surprise For Multitaskers

| By DWR Editor

Google Pixel 4 XL is rumored to be launched in October considering the Pixel 3 XL was launched at October 2018. Of course, speculations are flying around online about its expected specifications and features. Now, a new leak suggests that the upcoming Pixel 4 XL could be a big surprise for multitaskers based on the benchmark results.

Few highlighting features of the handset surfaced on the interwebs and listing revealed that the Pixel 4 XL will utilize a Snapdragon 855 SoC. The benchmark has revealed the processor, Android version, and RAM of the smartphone.

Per Google Pixel 4 XL Geekbench listing, the smartphone will come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor (codename “msmnile”). It’s paired with 8 gigs of RAM. It earned a single-core score of 2376 and a multi-core score of 9045. Impressive results, to be sure, but not nearly as good as what we saw from the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. The benchmark also confirms that the upcoming handset will ship with Android 10.

It’s too early to say whether the Google Pixel 4 XL Geekbench benchmark results spotted above are of a prototype or the consumer version of the handset. Given the expected launch is only about a month away, the results of the consumer version might not be much different.
