Google Pixel 4 Official Render Released

| By DWR Editor

The Google Pixel 4 smartphone had leaked in the form of renders a month back and now, it has made its way to the internet in the form of official renders as well. We’re now just a few months away from tech giant Google’s Pixel 4 series launch event, which is expected to take place in October. As is the case each and every year, few leaked renders already confirmed what the upcoming Pixel devices will feature.

Google has just confirmed the recently leaked Pixel 4 render by OnLeaks is genuine. Along with the confirmation, the company also released an official render. The confirmation was made on Twitter by the official Made by Google (@madebygoogle) account.

This official render shows the Pixel 4 in black with its square-shaped camera module similar to that on the upcoming iPhones. This render also gives us a closer look at the camera module of the Pixel 4 and we can confirm it houses two cameras. Even though Google’s last year flagships Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL features a single camera on the rear, they are still counted as among the best in the business when it comes to camera image quality. Now, Google is adding an extra sensor to its camera setup in Pixel 4 series and we can’t wait to try out the upcoming best camera phone.

The rear cameras are on opposite sides of each other while the LED flash is at the bottom and a laser focus module is at the top. There is also a smaller hole a few millimeters to the right of the flash. We are not sure but it could be a hole for a secondary microphone. Further, there is no physical fingerprint sensor on the rear confirms the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner. The Pixel 4 is also shown to have a white power button that sits above the volume rocker which is painted black.

There is no clarity when Google plans to make the Pixel 4 series official. To recall, a device appeared on Geekbench recently confirmed that the Pixel 4 series handsets will be fuelled by the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC. Even though there is no confirmation on the RAM and internal storage, we can expect at least 6GB of RAM on Pixel 4 series phones.
