Foldable iPhone May Be Launched in 2021

Apple has been left behind in the race of foldable smartphones till now as the other competitor brands already unveiled their foldable smartphones. But now Apple got a patent for a foldable smartphone. This may be considered as the first step of Apple in the foldable smartphone battle.

According to a report by CNN, Apple received a patent from US Patents and Trademark Office for a device whose display and cover can be folded. This clears that Apple is very keen to work on the foldable iPhone and bring it into the market as soon as possible.

Apple filed a request for this in the month of January last year along with some other patents, in which it mentioned the iPhone with a foldable display. Earlier, Apple also filed a patent related to Apple touch sensors and flexible display, in which display can be opened like a book.

iPhone manufacturer successfully filed a patent of a smartphone with a foldable display which is designed using a special fabric. Apple may use this design for its iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. According to a report, Many companies filed many patents related to foldable displays but failed to bring them out.

As we already know that Samsung and Huawei officially introduced their foldable smartphones in MWC 2019. Both the companies also started mass production of their foldable smartphones. We can expect the foldable iPhone from Apple to reach the markets by 2021.

Many reports revealed that the foldable smartphone from Samsung, Samsung Galaxy Fold is not functioning well due to some flaws. It makes clear that companies need to work a lot to bring the best foldable smartphones.
