Coolpad M3 Launched With Notched Display: Price, Features and Specifications

Coolpad is back with another affordable smartphone named ‘Coolpad M3’. The company didn’t make any announcement regarding the launch and they listed Coolpad M3 on Jd.com for sale at RMB 799 (approx. Rs 8,000). Last month, company launched Coolpad Note 8 with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal at Rs. 9999.

Coolpad M3 Specifications

The Coolpad M3 features a 5.85-inch notched LCD display with HD+ and it comes with a resolution of 1512×720 pixels, an 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by MediaTek octa-core MT6750 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There is a SD card slot for further expansion of storage.

In the camera department, the Coolpad M3 comes with a 13 megapixels primary camera. But the listing doesn’t reveal the secondary camera. Up front, there is a 5 megapixels camera for selfies and videocalls. The device also comes with AI face unlock.

The smartphone also features rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Coming to the battery, the Coolpad M3 has a 2,800 mAh battery and it supports 5V/1A charging. The smartphone will run on company’s proprietary Cool UI that is Android 8.1 Oreo.
General connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device measures 149.3 x 72.3 x 8.95mm and weighs 171 grams.

Coolpad M3 Price

Coming to the price of the Coolpad M3, the smartphone is listed in Gentleman’s Enamel and Blue Sea colours for a price tag of 799 yuan (approx. Rs 8,100). The Coolpad M3 is slated to go on sale in the China on November 28th.
