Coolpad Launches New Coolpad Note 8 Smartphone in India

After the Coolpad Note 6 launch in May, the company is back with a new smartphone named “Coolpad Note 8” in India. The new Coolpad Note 8 features a large display, 4000mAh battery and dual cameras on the back. The Coolpad Note 8 will be available in black color and can be bought exclusively from Paytm Mall starting from today.

Syed Tajuddin, the CEO, Coolpad India, said, “After going through a rough phase we are looking forward to make an impact in the Indian market with Coolpad Note 8. This product will also be our first cooperation with Paytm and we are looking forward to make it a mutually beneficial one.”

Coolpad Note 8 Specifications

The Coolpad Note 8 offers a 5.99-inch IPS FullHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The new smartphone is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor paired with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The Coolpad Note 8 comes with a 64 GB of internal and it can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which is non-removable.

In terms of optics, the new Coolpad Note 8 comes with a dual camera setup on the back with the 16MP primary sensor and a 0.3MP secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. On the front, the device holds an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android Oreo.

Connectivity options available on the device G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device measures 151×72.5×8.3mm, and it weighs 185 grams.

Coolpad Note 8 Price in India

Coolpad Note 8 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The smartphone will be exclusively available through the Paytm Mall from October 15. This phone comes with a Black Piano finish.
