Coolpad has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone in China, dubbed the Coolpad Cool 20s. Among its features are Dimensity 700 chipset, 50-megapixel dual-camera setup, 4,500mAh battery, dual stereo speakers, and more. Check out the specs, price, and availability of this handset.

Coolpad Cool 20s price, availability

Starting at 999 yuan (approx Rs 11,750), Coolpad Cool 20s is offered in Firefly Black, Moon Shadow White, and Azure Blue colours. In China, the phone is available for pre-order and its first sale is scheduled for June 17.

Coolpad Cool 20s Specifications

Coolpad Cool 20s boasts a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 1080 x 2408 pixel resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 16.7 million colors.

It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. The smartphone is available in three storage and RAM configurations — 4GB RAM + 128GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 128GB. MicroSD cards up to 1TB can be used to expand the storage.

There is a dual-camera setup on the phone. It features a 50-megapixel rear sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel sensor macro lens. It also has an 8 MP front-facing camera. 

The battery of the phone is 4500mAh and it supports 18W fast charging. It ships with Android 11-based Cool OS 2.0 out of the box. In addition, it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face recognition support.

Connectivity features include dual SIM, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 163.02 x 74.75 x 8.28mm and weighs 180 grams.
