Earlier this year, Xiaomi unveiled Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro gaming smartphones. Now, a new Black Shark 4S member has been added to the Blackshark 4 lineup.
According to a Weibo post, the Black Shark 4S will be announced on October 13 in China. The poster shared by the brand also reveals that the smartphone will have a horizontally aligned triple camera setup. But the company hasn’t shared the key specifications of its upcoming smartphone.
Black Shark 4S Pro is also expected to launch alongside Black Shark 4S. The Pro model will boast a 144Hz display. Also, it is said to have a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and support 120W fast charging. The Black Shark 4S, on the other hand, may also come with a 144Hz display and 120W rapid charging.
The Black Shark 4S Pro is likely to feature a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
Black Shark 4 Specifications
The Black Shark 4 has a 6.67-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, support for 144Hz refresh rate, up to 720Hz touch sampling rate, MEMC technology support, 1300 nits brightness, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs Xiaomi’s MIUI-based JoyUI.
A Snapdragon 870 processor powers the smartphone alongside the Adreno 650 GPU. Furthermore, the device has LPDDR5 RAM of up to 12GB, and UFS 3.1 storage of up to 256GB.
Black Shark 4 is equipped with a triple-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens and an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.
